The lake is situated at the foot of Mount King is the largest lake in Kerinci district. Lake area is approximately 5000 square meters with a height of 783 meters above sea level.

To reach the location can be reached by road with several alternatives: the first alternative: the journey begins from the town of Jambi River Full. Not only is Wat Arun accessible by taxi, but it is also accessible by ferry.

5. Wat Saket.
The famous Wat Saket is most known for its fantastic views. No other temple in Thailand offers visitors such sweeping views of the Bangkok area as Wat Saket. In Jalan Legian, Kuta there is the Bali Bomb monument. This monument was built to commemorate the 202 citizens of Bali who perished in a bombing in October of 2002. It was built on the site of a pub that was destroyed in the bombing and is covered in carved stone. On the stone there is a plaque with the names of the people that were killed. This monument is well lit to be easily viewed at night.

Located over the Petanu River in Bedaulu Village there is the Goa Gajah. This is translated as Elephant Cave. It was given this name because its unique carvings at the entrance strongly resemble an elephant. This cave is more than a thousand years old and when viewed closely reveals images of Hindu idols and phallic symbols. The Goa Gajah is one of Bali’s most popular tourist attractions.

Surrounded  by mountains and beautiful scenery in Besakih Village, Rendang, Karangasem, is Bali’s most prominent set of temples which are known as Pura Besakih. The translation of this name is Mother Temple because of its vast variety of structures. These temples are filled with carvings and statues of Hindu gods and goddesses which make them a very popular tourist attraction. It is said that in the months of March and April all the gods and goddesses visit the temples; thus making those two months the most popular time to tour these historical landmarks.

Although Bali is small in size it is huge in culture and what seems to be a rich everlasting historical beauty. Bali holidays will bring a feeling of peace and serenity as well as a renewed joy in being alive.

Since finished visiting Wamena, I’ve wanted to see Tana Toraja, with its capital Makale. Coming home from Wamena, both my staff went on a trip to Toraja, but I must go home to Jakarta, because the next day my youngest daughter’s birthday.

Finally the opportunity came, too. While on duty in Napier, coincidence problem to be solved quite a lot, so we return late. Apparently the day after we were able to complete the task, the next day Passover holiday, and when combined with Saturday and Sunday we have time enough to see Tana Toraja, knowing Tora Makassar trip takes 8 (eight) hours.

We depart from Makassar afternoon, and forecasts until Makale not too late. Apparently there are trucks on the road right in the middle of the broken bridge, resulting in the road impassable. We were finally able to enter the city at 22:00 CDT Makale and direct to the hotel which was booked by a friend in Makale.

Hotel where we stay is made as life in Toraja, with home cultures, which I think is somewhat similar to the traditional house of Batak.

After finishing breakfast, we picked up a friend in Makale to see the burial place of the corpse. The uniqueness of indigenous peoples in Tana Toraja, similar to the Trunyan Bali, the corpses are not buried, but just put in the cracks of mountains.

Previously corpses stored in a place, where a variety of forms (see above), waiting for an appropriate funeral time. Funeral corpse in Tana Toraja is a long-awaited event tourists, and require expensive. It is said that the dead can walk alone, and up the stairs in the mountains to seek his eternal home.
